Wines with a sense of adventure

NEWS - Pinot Gris 2012 Vintage wins GOLD Medal at the Marlborough Wine Show, a pleasing result on the back of the successful 2011 Air New Zealand Gold award. This wine is made with 20% of the wine fermented using wild yeasts to give more structure, texture and flavour to the wine.
Bridget Ennals and Steve Pellett travelled the world to find a place to put down their roots. They found that place at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, under the cool gaze of Mount Tapuae-O-Uenuku (the footprint of the rainbow) in Marlborough’s spectacular Awatere Valley.
The Awatere Valley’s sunny days and cool nights ripen grapes slowly, allowing them to develop herbaceous flavours and gooseberry tastes – distinctively different to the sauvignon produced elsewhere in Marlborough. Growing Sauvignon Blanc sustainably.

The Stanley Estates Albariño 2012 proved very popular at the Marlborough Wine and Food Festival on February 9th. Equally successful was our award winning Sauvignon Blanc 2012 from our vines here in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough.
Come try our wines in Australia at the NZ in a Glass events in Melbourne (Feb 25th), Sydney (Feb 28th ) and Brisbane (March 1st).
Sharing a passion for adventure, wine, viticulture and the environment, we established our boutique vineyard in Marlborough’s famed Awatere Valley in 2003.
